Listening to Claudia just made her angrier. Fucking town! She hated it so much! It would never allow her to get any satisfaction! At least… Not until now. She was going to kill her this time. And if she came back again, she’d just kill her again. And again. And again. And even if she did it 100 times, that would never amount to the pain Claudia had caused her. She then asked why she was here. Oh, right… She was on a mission here. But like hell she was going to tell her!
“That’s none of your business!” She shouted, her voice echoing throughout the town. She didn’t care if it alerted all the monsters in Silent Hill. In fact, she pretty much forgot about them. She was focused on one thing at the moment and it clouded her judgement. Heather prepared herself to lung forward to start attacking the helpless Priestess but…But something large and horrendous got in her way.
Leonard.
Heather looked up at the familiar, disturbing face that the monster bared. Her face went from unfathomable rage to horror. She knew that he was around but remembering the first battle she had with him… He was NOT an easy foe to beat. Then again… Right now he was out of his element. Most of the fight was him being under water and getting him to surface. But now he was completely exposed. She could hit him at any time. And he could do so to her. She contemplated her choices here… She could make a run for it. Leonard wasn’t exactly a fast monster. But Heather could lose her chance for revenge. Or she could stay and fight him to get to Claudia. There was a possibility that she could lose… She didn’t have as many weapons as she had before. But without there being water around them for him to slither under, she wouldn’t need guns. She’d merely have to beat him with the pipe. Plus she could always make a break for it if things got too out of hand… She planned to stay. It’s not like he was “god” or something.
… Wait… Was he smiling at her? How could he even do that?!
“So, Heather, now that you know how this town works, would you like to test it?”
“Sure Leonard!” Heather said with a smile, narrowing her eyes. “We’ll see how many times this town is willing to bring you two back!”
And with that, Heather ran at Leonard, her pipe held high above her shoulder, preparing to take a hard swing at him. She was going to hit him with everything she had!
Claudia couldn’t have been more thankful that her father stepped in. She saw Heather about to lunge , but then her father stepped in.
In the corner of her eye Claudia noticed a Medical Kit on the sidewalk. She loved how convenient this town was. She slowly moved towards the sidewalk, trying to make it look like she was trying to get out of the way. She gets there and uses her skirt to cover the kit. She slums down and retrieves the kit.
“Finally, now I can properly dress my wound. Then it’ll heal faster.” He wound was healing a little bit, but it hurt like hell.
She kept an eye on Heather and her father. She didn’t want to sneak attack from Heather. She quickly started to dress her wound while Heather raised her pipe.
“We’ll see how many times this town is willing to bring you two back!”
“Silly girl you’ll waste your time and what’s left of your youth,” Claudia thought. It made her happy that she didn’t have anywhere near as much anger as Heather. Anger lead to fixation on something or someone and leads to wasted time.
She was almost done with her foot; knowing that she would have to step in the fight. She might of hated her father in life, but that was slowly disappearing with the rise of danger in the air.
Heather ran at him, pipe raised. Did she really think it was going to be that easy? Leonard almost laughed. Sure, there wasn’t water to hide in this time, but that didn’t mean he wasn’t still exceptionally hard to kill. He blocked the blow with a claw, and tried to knock the weapon off to the side.
If he could disarm Heather, the fight would definitely be in their favor. He didn’t want to kill her. Not yet. His current plan was to distract her while Claudia tended to her wound. That seemed like the best idea.
Heather was a tenacious one all right. Was she really willing to kill them an infinite number of times? What an incredibly foolish idea. Oh well. He’d play along with her delusions for now.
He clapped his claws together mockingly. “Well done, Heather. Well done…But you’ll have to try harder than that.”
Claudia slowly got to her feet, flinching a bit when pressure was applied to her leg. She faced Heather, making note of every facial movement she made, and said
“How am I alive? Well, nothing truly dies here. Whatever dies is reborn again. It happens to every human and every creature. Any dog, any numb body, my father, Vincent, anything will be reborn. It’s like being in Sheol, in reference to the Christian faith. Here is the place of waiting before paradise is complete.
Why are you here? You didn’t die…at least not to my knowledge.”
Claudia saw tears starting to stream down Heather’s face. This isn’t good.
Her foot was bothering her and she would be a bit slower in hand to hand combat, though she could use her telekinetic powers, it was exhausting.
‘If my father truly loves me, he would help me. I hope….’ she thought.
He could sense the rising tension in the air. Heather was ready to do anything. Anything. And Claudia was right in her path. Claudia was injured, he could tell from the way she was precariously standing. And her powers would be nearly useless against an angry girl who had nothing left to lose.
He knew he had to do something. Claudia might have betrayed him, ruined him, and hated him, but she was still his daughter. And now she was in danger.
Leonard moved forwards, stepping in front of Claudia. He looked Heather straight in the eyes. The eyes that had watched as she beat him, shot him, killed him. He felt the skin over his mouth stretch as he smiled. The voices in his head screamed for blood.
“So, Heather, now that you know how this town works, would you like to test it?”

Hello.
Don’t worry yourself. It has nothing to do with you…
I know…
But if it…helps…
I do not remember my father…if I had one…
Thank you…You are…kinder than I thought you were.
I can be when I want to…
There aren’t many to be kind to…
I do not know how a father is supposed to be like…
-She places her hands on her own shoulders-
There aren’t many here who deserve it.
And a father…it’s hard to explain. I guess you could say a father is supposed to care for his child.

-he steps away slightly, trying to remain nonchalant-
My daughter…left me in Brookhaven. She and the Order locked me up here. She never visited me once. I didn’t see her for years. I was terrible to her, and I deserved it, and it’s probably why I’m like this now…
…It’s painful…
-Her shoulders drop slightly, the creaking of the Helmet situating itself heard-
I…I apologize…
-She steps backwards a few steps-
Don’t worry yourself. It has nothing to do with you…

I can’t stand it either…It makes me sick sometimes, thinking about it. What it did to me, what it does to creatures like you…
And there’s no escape.
Of course there isn’t…
I-I miss…My father…
Whatever he looks like…
